1 Samuel - ch 25 v 41 - 44

  1. And she arose and bowed herself down with her face to the earth, and said: Behold, let thy servant be a handmaid, to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.
  2. And Abigail arose, and made haste, and got upon an ass, and five damsels went with her, her waiting maids, and she followed the messengers of David, and became his wife.
  3. Moreover David took also Achinoam of Jezrahel: and they were both of them his wives.
  4. But Saul gave Michol his daughter, David's wife, to Phalti, the son of Lais, who was of Gallium.
